With more than 35 years dedicated to ballet, Luiza Bandeira is an internationally experienced ballet teacher, choreographer, competition coach, mentor, and former dancer whose work is centered on technical precision, artistic development, and the continuous refinement of the dancer.

Her teaching is strongly rooted in the Vaganova methodology, with knowledge and experience across different ballet training systems, including the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), as well as complementary approaches to body conditioning and movement.

Over the years, Luiza has taken her teaching and coaching internationally, working with dancers, teachers, schools, and academies in China, Hong Kong, Dubai, Germany, Egypt, Brazil, and other countries around the world.

More than teaching — refining the dancer

Luiza's approach is not simply about teaching steps or creating increasingly complex combinations. Her work is about refining what is already there.

Every movement can be improved. Every transition can become clearer. Every line can be more intentional. Every position, turn, landing, port de bras, and finishing detail can be carefully observed and refined.

Her signature lies in the cleaning of technique: the detailed process of identifying what is preventing a dancer from reaching their full potential and working patiently through each element until the movement becomes more precise, efficient, controlled, and expressive.

This attention to detail is particularly valuable in competition preparation, repertoire coaching, private training, masterclasses, and professional development.

Vaganova-based training & pedagogical development

Through her experience with the Vaganova methodology, Luiza works with the logic of progressive ballet education: understanding why an exercise is taught, when it should be introduced, how it should progress, and how corrections should be adapted to each dancer.

Her pedagogical work also extends to ballet teachers who wish to develop a more structured, conscious, and technically precise approach to teaching.

She is the author of the pedagogical collection “Aulas de Ballet: Programação Didática”, dedicated to the organization and progression of ballet classes and teaching material.

International masterclasses & coaching

Luiza is available internationally for masterclasses, intensive programs, competition coaching, private coaching, repertoire coaching, teacher training, pedagogical mentorship, school and academy consultations, and short- and long-term international residencies.
